Dundee City win Trident Trophies Division 2

Dundee City have won the Trident Trophies Division 2. One of the pre-season favourites for the league lived up to their billing by going through the season unbeaten.

The club achieved this in their first season in the Association last Saturday with a 3-0 home victory over one of their closest rivals Strathmore Athletic.

Darren Cox, Steven Rice scored along with assistant manager Jamie McBrearty who got his first goal of the season. Goalkeeper Ben Peters also saved a penalty in the 2nd half when the score was 2-0.

On a glorious afternoon at St. Pauls Academy captain Gary Stevenson was presented with the trophy by Midlands AFA President Gordon Farmer.
